Credit Changes
August 7, 2024
Dear Marvin’s Customers,
We have some exciting things happening at Marvin’s. During the month of September, we will be updating our point of sale computer system and business credit services. As part of those changes, we will be transitioning your credit account to be directly with Marvin’s rather than through Capital One Trade Credit.
What does that mean for you?
-
All purchases under your Capital One Trade Credit account are still due to Capital One, and all charges after the store converts its point of sale system will be due to Marvin’s.
-
Capital One Trade Credit will be sending you a letter informing you your account with them is suspended. This suspension simply refers to the same account transition discussed in this letter.
-
Accounts in good standing will be opened immediately through Marvin’s, and credit lines for these accounts will be unchanged from the amount of credit available through Capital One.
-
You will need to complete the attached customer account form. It must be completed and returned (via email or US mail) within 45 days.
-
There will be a new remittance address for future payments for Marvin’s invoices.
-
You will also be able to make payments in your Marvin’s store and they will be posted in real time.
-
You will have new options for paying via ACH (e-check).
-
You will have the option to have invoices emailed to you at the time of purchase.
-
You will have a new option for updating your authorized users online
If you have a balance with Capital One on September 25, 2024 you will still receive a statement from them, as normal. If you have also made charges at Marvin’s after your store’s date of conversion, you will also receive a statement from us on September 30, 2024. As the conversion date approaches, we will be sharing the website and remit information.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Marvin’s credit team at 800-844-7209 or ar@marvins.com
