Marvin's Completes Refinancing of $20M Revolving Credit Facility

Leeds, Alabama, January 4, 2010
Marvin's Building Materials and Home Centers announced today the closing on a new $20 million revolving secured credit facility with RBS Business Capital. The new credit facility has a three-year term and replaces a $20 million revolving secured credit facility with Regions Bank that was due to mature on January 15th.

Marvin's Building Materials and Home Center store in Thomasville held its grand opening Friday. Instead of a traditional ribboncutting, a selection of people involved with opening the store took turns cutting through a board with a hand saw.

On August 7th Marvin's Building Materials and Home Centers opened a brand new Marvin's location in Summerville, Georgia.  The new store is 37,000 square feet of home improvement products with an attached lawn and garden center and the convenience of a drive through lumberyard.  "Making it easy for our customers is what Marvin's is all about," said Boyden Moore, President and CEO.

DEMOPOLIS — Marvin’s Building Materials and Home Centers is preparing to move to its new, larger location on U.S. Highway 80.Craig Cowart, the senior vice president of merchandising and marketing, said the store would open on Monday, June 8, what the company is calling a “soft opening,” as opposed to the grand opening featuring the ribbon cutting, which will take place on Friday, June 19.
