    Mike Griffin
Director of Store Operations Mike Griffin

"Marvin's has been a great career that has allowed me to grow with the company. Marvin's has always been a company that rewards hard work, dedication and a willingness to get the job done. In fact, that is what I tell candidates during the interview process. My standard speech is that your ability to perform is the only limiting factor to how high and fast your career will progress with Marvin's. I also stress our Mission Statement and Values to make sure the candidate understands our belief structure and how serious we are about living up to them. The best part of my career at Marvin's has been to help others reach their career goals and the relationships built over the years."

Mike started his career in 1975 on the lumber yard at the Gadsden, AL location. He worked his way up to customer service, then to yard supervisor. He later spent time in both retail and commercial sales and was promoted to sales manager in 1980. Mike worked as an office manager as part of his cross-training program before being promoted to assistant manager. From 1984 until 1990 he served as the store manager at four different locations, the last store was the one in Gadsden, AL where he started with the company. In 1990, he became a district manager and has served as a regional manager. Mike is now the Director of Store Operations for the company serving all locations.
